Our family would like to welcome to our website and invite you to visit Tutor Time of Syosset. We would be happy to show you our facilities, and talk to you about your child and their child care needs.

We know from experience that Long Island is a great place to raise children. It offered many opportunities for us and our three sons as they were growing up. We hope that you and your family enjoy it as much as we do.

As parents we also understand the need for safe, quality child care. That is why we devote our time and energy to our childcare centers. Between the two of us we have over 50 years of child care experience. Our job is to care for, love and educate children, and we do so wholeheartedly.

When I was in college the director of the school’s health center told me “If I were to do it all over again I would work with young children. If you really want to make a difference in this world you need to start with the children.” At that moment I decided that I wanted to be a preschool teacher. I started teaching preschool right out of college while working on my Masters of Education Degree, and I have taught various disciplines in several schools on Long Island and in Connecticut, always in preschool. I love the children and enjoy every day that I get to spend with them.

When I am not in school I spend a lot of time with my family. My cousins, aunts and uncles all visit my Grandmother every weekend. It is a good opportunity to spend time together and an excuse to enjoy Grandma’s cooking. I have also been training for my first triathlon. Every day I swim, bike and/or run. It takes up a lot of my free time, but it is a lot of fun and very rewarding.
